Free standing handrail

The Roof Safety Co can provide a permanent free standing system which is highly versatile and can be adapted to fit most flat roof areas. This can be installed as a means of a dedicated walkway, full roof edge protection or as a single protection barrier.

 Full roof edge protection

This is a completely free standing system, it does not penetrate existing roof membranes
and will not invalidate any roofing guarantee.

The system takes its strength and rigidity from its cantilever design and locking principles,
hence problems with water leakage and structural fixings are eliminated.

The system is supported by solid steel weights and is secured by zinc plated grubb
screws. All feet and weights are supplied with bonded ribbed rubber pads as standard.

The guardrail system design takes the complexity and cost out of roof edge protection, with minimum components for ease of fitting, adjustable uprights allowing up to 11 degree taking from vertical movement, no drilling or welding, bending or threading is required.

Dedicated walkway

This system is corrosion resistant and galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 finish on all assemblies. The pre-fabricated system is lightweight and allows for maximum versatility, the sections can be taken down and added to and re-erected on site.

The Roof Safety Co can design, manufacture, supply and install guardrail systems, which may also require ladders and walkways, therefore the client has no need to seek separate contractors and limits the number of contractors on site.
